Meet Snorkel Brad: The Most Confident Man in 3 Feet of Water
There are snorkelers, and then there is Snorkel Brad. One of those two things has logged over 10,000 hours in open water. The other one has logged over 10,000 hours in water that never once reached his belt.
Brad is the self-appointed Chief Diving Officer of ButtSnorkelers.com — a title he gave himself, printed on a business card, and refuses to explain. He has never been certified in anything. He has never seen a shark. He has described several sharks, in vivid, deeply specific detail, to anyone who will hold still.
We hired him because nobody could stop him from showing up, and because he embodies the one thing this brand actually stands for: doing something ridiculous with your entire chest.
Who is Snorkel Brad, exactly?
Brad believes snorkeling is 10% technique, 90% attitude, and 100% not doing the math on how those add up. His signature move is walking directly into the ocean, orange mask on his forehead (never his eyes), giving a thumbs-up to a crowd that is not there.
His philosophy, stated on a beach at sunset to a very patient seagull: "You don't rise to the level of your training. You sink to the level of your swim trunks." We're still not sure what that means. Neither is Brad. That has never slowed him down.
"I've seen the deep end. From the shallow end. Through very foggy goggles. And I can tell you — it's down there." — Snorkel Brad
Where to watch Snorkel Brad
Brad posts what he generously calls "tutorials." On YouTube, that means long-form disasters where he explains snorkeling technique he is actively getting wrong. On TikTok (@snorkelbrad), it's 60-second clips of the exact moment things go sideways, usually set to dramatic music he chose himself.
If you've ever wanted to feel better about your own life choices, subscribe. It's free, and Brad needs the validation more than the ocean needs him.

Brad's official gear (yes, he insisted)
Every legend needs a uniform. Brad's is black, absurd, and available to you. If you want to dive in cheeks-first alongside him, he strongly recommends the full collection — and specifically The Classic Tee for people who want to declare their allegiance without saying a word, and The Trucker for keeping the sun off a face that has clearly seen enough of it.
Is Snorkel Brad a good snorkeler? No. Is he the most confident man in three feet of water? Absolutely, and it's not close. Welcome to the movement.
